My wife and I would like to express our thanks to Daniel Waters for the recent sale of our home in Carseldine.
At the beginning of the sale process, we interviewed three very knowledgeable and competent real estate agents to handle this sale. Although we felt that all of the agents would have done a good job of marketing our home, we elected to engage Daniel’s services. I would like to convey my appreciation to Mr Daniel Waters of LJ Hooker at Aspley in relation to the overall process of recently selling my house at 2 Province Street, Boondall. When my son, daughter and I met Daniel in my home for the very first time, I found him to be very courteous, astute and helpful with our requirements in arranging to sell my home that I have lived in for 50 years. My first impression of Daniel and the way in which he conducted himself was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. I soon determined that Daniel was the right person to engage in selling my home.
During the entire listing and selling process, Daniel always conveyed to us the most recent and up to date information as we progressed and he always kept us informed of developments and proceedings. We were very happy to sell our house through LJ Hooker Aspley and Daniel Waters.
We met with other agents initially but after seeing Daniel we felt very comfortable with him and his style. Daniel was always available to meet with us when it suited our busy lives, and was also very responsive to our phone calls and emails.
He was lovely to our two children and understood the difficulties of keeping our home presentable for open houses and viewings and therefore arranged for all this to open over 3-4 days, and there was no pressure for us to have a second open house.
His method of dealing with potential buyers was how we would like to be dealt with if we were buying, not forcing them into a snap decision, but advising all offers needed to be in by the Tuesday after the open house. This gave time for some of them to re-visit the house and resulted in multiple offers being made and a contract being signed within 7 days of first listing the property. Daniel also negotiated a delayed settlement to fit in with our dates of moving to NSW.
We were very happy with the final price received, it certainly exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the advice Daniel gave us on marketing the property in the cheapest but most effective way and we were blown away by how good our house looked in their advertisement. Daniel gave us great advice on presenting the property and what areas to focus on, which really helped to get our great sale price.
Daniel was always calm and on top of things which made us feel very comfortable and resulted in the entire process up to and beyond settlement being straight forward. He even put the bins out for us when we moved to NSW just before settlement!

David was very personable and professional. He was always available and made you feel his time was yours. With his obvious experience, his knowledge of the local market was realistic and thorough. We purchased a property through David and found the experience, particularly the negotiations with the vendor very positive.
David was a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to deal with during the purchase of our new home in Geebung. It was a pleasure to deal with an agent who respected both the Buyer and Seller’s wishes. Seller – Wavell Heights
Tony came to us with a selling strategy we didn’t agree with. He asked us to try it for 2 weeks and if we weren’t happy we’d change our strategy to what we wanted. Within that 2 weeks Tony secured us multiple offers resulting in the sale of our house $25,000 above our expected price. Needless to say we are over the moon happy with Tony. He is very easy to deal with and has a great manner, the ultimate professional.

As a tenant I have had some dreadful experiences with Real Estate agencies. I find LJ Hooker a pleasant change. My property manager Jess is friendly and helpful. Any issues are addressed promptly with excellent communication. If you want to rent out your house and know your tenants will be well looked after, Jess is the real estate agent for you.
We have had the pleasure of renting a property from Amanda Fenton in Aspley. We recently moved interstate from Melbourne and Amanda has been tremendous from the beginning in making sure we secured a property that was close to our jobs.
It's a big leap moving cities and then trying to find somewhere to move without being in the area is quite difficult. Amanda met with our in laws and helped us to secure a property with ease. Amanda completely took the stress out for us, we were even fortunate that Amanda was accommodating with all our requests and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
In addition, as a tenant Amanda has remained professional, kind, gives plenty of notice for inspections, and again accommodates our requests to make it easy for us.
